Starting from Piazza Buraglia, you climb uphill the alleys and steps leading up to the Church of Santa Maria Maggiore. For the stone stairway you go up to via Capocasale, then turn right to reach the provincial road. Going down, after a few dozen of meters, on the left, the path begins and it is signaled by a road sign.

To reach the church, it is about 2 km walking, and before reaching the Hermitage of the Madonna della Pietà, you can see the chapel of San Paolo. At various points you can see old terracing and not infrequently, in the spring season, podolica breed cows grazing.
