River Activities

We can recognize two sections of the Noce basin, which for their characteristics offer different and complementary opportunities: the Middle Noce between Lagonegro, Rivello and Nemoli, the lower Noce in the Nemoli / Lauria and Trecchina stretch.

In the median part, the course of Noce river, as well as that of its tributaries, is often collected in deep ravines that house a luxuriant vegetation that gives life to a characteristic environment. People often have no perception of it from the upper edge.

Because of its location Rivello can propose itself as a “river base”, a reference point for canyoning and river hiking activities that local associations have already started to offer in the last two years.
