This 13.7 km route connects the Castrocucco district to the historic center of Maratea. Starting from the D’A Gnola beach (Castrocucco) you cross the La Secca park and go back up the SS18 state road in the Valle d’Acqua area. From here starts a path that leads to Monte Serra di Castrocucco, passes through Rediminni , and crossing the ridge of the Serra Longa it arrives in Santa Caterina. Then you go up towards the statue of Christ the Redeemer passing through the ancient village of Maratea Castello. From here, passing through the Pontifical Basilica of San Biagio, you descend to the Madonna degli Ulivi hermitage and then you continue along a path that passes through the Carpini wood and goes back to the historic centre.
